sadly there is no public place to ride in york. why? there have been several people that have tried to open places
but from what i have read and seen, its, well i will just plainly say it.
to much people that have moved up from baltimore to live here were nobodys down there and get involved in township boards and dont understand life up here just shut everything down because they dont like it, or think they need to control everything, just becasue thats what they are used to down in the city.
there where areas that where suitable to have riding parks, you know, away from surban delvopments, dust control, not to many hours they were going to be open, keeping non riders interest there too, but were shut down or not approved because someone on the board did not like dirt bikes, becasue they had a bad image down there in the city, yea, drug runners running mx bikes on the street is a bad image anywhere. lets face it, you have a off roader goon riding on the streets everywhere you go.

cant really blame them because people do give them anywhere to go.
there was 1 riding area that wanted to open but was too close to houses. so it is understandable it wasnt allowed to open.
the answer? the riding community needs to be part of there township, get on the board, attend local mettings and voice your opinion. just dont show up when it affects you. be a active part for everyone. it will get you places.

as you can see. i dont give a crap about politcal correctness. i call it as i see it and so there are no misunderstandings as to what i am saying. :D

It's happened in California for decades: the new people move in and are now calling the shots.

We used to be the birthplace of Drag Racing, now you really have to look for a drag strip here in SoCal. The same went for civil aviation airports. Off road areas have been in the cross-hairs lately.

We have more tree-huggers in this state than the rest of the country combined!

gut the people and tie them to the tree with there own insides.
